Resumo:

Esta comunicação explora a intersecção da educação crítica com a tecnologia generativa e a inteligência artificial (IA) no contexto de um currículo para ciborgues, entidades com capacidades físicas e/ou mentais ampliadas pela tecnologia. A discussão aborda a necessidade de adaptar os sistemas educacionais à rápida evolução tecnológica, questionando os prodígios tecnológicos e as contingências de dominação que certas práticas geram. A convergência entre a educação crítica e a tecnologia generativa com IA é defendida como meio para conceber um currículo que reconheça e se adapte às necessidades específicas das entidades ciborgues. Este estudo está ancorado nas correntes pós-críticas do currículo e pós-humanistas da sociologia da educação, que buscam repensar a educação num mundo cada vez mais tecnológico. Abrem-se novas perspetivas curriculares emergentes a partir do uso crítico da tecnologia generativa com IA: a perspetiva Transhumanista, que vê a tecnologia como extensão do ser humano e explora questões éticas e filosóficas; a perspetiva da Literacia Digital Avançada, que enfatiza a compreensão e criação com tecnologia generativa e IA; a perspetiva da Educação Tecnológica Crítica, que capacita os estudantes para questionar a dominação tecnológica; e a perspetiva de Educação para a Cidadania Digital, que se foca nos direitos digitais, ética online, segurança digital e participação cívica online.

CRITICAL EDUCATION AND GENERATIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR CYBORG ENTITIES IN THE POST-HUMAN CONTEXT

Abstract:

This communication explores the intersection of critical education with generative technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of a curriculum for cyborgs, entities with physical and/or mental capabilities enhanced by technology. The discussion addresses the need to adapt educational systems to rapid technological evolution, questioning the technological marvels and the contingencies of domination that certain practices generate. The convergence between critical education and generative technology with AI is advocated to conceive a curriculum that recognizes and adapts to the specific needs of cyborg entities. This study is anchored in the post-critical currents of curriculum and post-humanist sociology of education, which seek to rethink education in an increasingly technological world. New emerging curricular perspectives arise from the critical use of generative technology with AI: the Transhumanist perspective, which sees technology as an extension of the human being and explores ethical and philosophical issues; the perspective of Advanced Digital Literacy, which emphasizes understanding and creation with generative technology and AI; the perspective of Critical Technological Education, which empowers students to question technological domination; and the perspective of Education for Digital Citizenship, which focuses on digital rights, online ethics, digital security, and online civic participation.
