In the 2009/2010 academic year, the University of Madeira (UMa) and the Association of Teachers of the Modern School Movement (MEM) developed a Cooperative Training Project. Since then, whenever possible, student trainees are invited to study and collaborate in the pedagogical model of MEM, in the internship centers of the cooperating teachers of this association.
