BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY José Paulo Gomes Brazão holds a PhD in Education - Pedagogical Innovation (2008), and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Madeira (UMa), Portugal. He is a lecturer and researcher in the scientific area of Education: Pedagogical Innovation, and Sex and Gender Diversity; Post-doctoral fellow (2022) in Education, specializing in Culture and Diversity, at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS); Post-doctoral fellow (2024) in Pedagogical Innovation, technology and learning, at the Institute of Education, University of Lisbon (IEU.Lisboa), Portugal; Master's degree in Educational Psychology (2000), from the Institute of Psychological, Social and Life Sciences (ISPA); Holds an Advanced Postgraduate Specialization in Affirmative Psychosocial Intervention with LGBTQ+ People - advanced professional program, from the Portuguese Institute of Psychology (INSPSIC), in (2023); Is an expert for Pedagogical Innovation in the team of Project K220-SCH L'ingénierie d'accompagnement comme levier d'innovation pédagogique, FR01 - Agence Erasmus+ France Français / Education et Formation and Université de Lyon - IALIP, 2023-2026.
